Joe Nieves stars in "Prime Suspect" on NBC as Detective Eddie Gautier. Adapted from the British miniseries by the same name, the series is about an iconoclastic female detective who has to make her bones in a tough New York precinct dominated by men.

He made his TV debut in BET's "The Blackberry Inn," which he followed with guest appearances on "The X-Files," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "NYPD Blue," "ER," "Private Practice," "The Shield," "Castle" and "24."
