Joey Lawrence stars in "Melissa & Joey" on ABC Family as Joe Longo. He and co-star Melissa Joan Hart are also executive producers on the series. They also starred together in the ABC Family Original Movie, "My Fake Fiancé." In addition, Lawrence hosts ABC's celebrity diving competition series "Splash," along with Charissa Thompson.

Joey Lawrence has grown up in front of his fans and has successfully made the transition from teen icon to a legitimate actor. He continues to build his audience whether through film, television or performing live on stage.

In 2010, Lawrence hits the big screen with two feature films "Hit List" and "Sinatra Club" with Jason Gedrick. Lawrence has also just sold a script to Disney with the producers of "The Wedding Crashers" called "Mr. Everything" which he will co-produce and star in, and is set to shoot in early 2011. When he is not in front of the camera he is in the studio working on his latest up-tempo pop album which is set to drop in 2011 as well.

Lawrence has been a television favorite for as long as audiences can remember. Lawrence first began working at age six on "Gimme A Break" and followed that show with another hit TV series "Blossom" where he played Joey Russo, a dim-witted young man who frequently uttered the phrase "Whoa!" which became a national catchphrase.

Lawrence went on to star in the sitcoms "Run of the House," "Brotherly Love," with his brothers Matt Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence, and a recurring role on "American Dreams." Joey Lawrence has continued to add a diverse list of acting roles to his resume — appearing on "Half & Half" and "CSI: NY" and a starring role in the feature film "Urban Legends: Final Cut." Lawrence has also appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" and the TLC series "Masters of Dance." Most recently, he starred in the Broadway hit "Chicago" as Billy Flynn.

Even with all his major success on television, Lawrence has always said music was his passion. At age 16, he began a recording career and in 1993 he released his self-titled debut album. The album was produced by Terry Lupton, Ian Prince ad Teddy Riley. Lawrence also co-wrote songs on the album, including the international hit single "Nothin' My Love Can't Fix" (Billboard Hot 100 Airplay #6, Billboard Top 40 Mainstream #10, Billboard Hot 100 #19). He is currently in the studio working on new music.

Lawrence is married with two daughters and currently resides in Los Angeles.
