John Hodgman stars on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," as himself. He also appears in the movie "Arthur," alongside Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner and Greta Gerwig, as a candy store manager.

John Hodgman is best known for his personification of a PC in Apple's "Get a Mac" advertising campaign and as the resident expert on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," available for comment on such matters as currency rates, planetary bodies, mixed martial arts, "American Idol," and lice. Apart from the many fake books he has advertised on the show, Hodgman is the author of one actual book entitled "The Areas of My Expertise," although that is a book of fake facts. Hodgman's new book is titled "More Information Than You Require." He remains a Contributing Writer at the New York Times Magazine.
