John Slattery stars in "Mad Men" as Roger Sterling. Slattery was nominated in 2010 for his third Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role in the critically acclaimed AMC series. In 2009, the show was nominated for a Television Critics Association (TCA) Award for Program of the Year and won the TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama. The show was also nominated for the latter award in 2010. It was also the first basic-cable program to win Outstanding Drama

John Slattery can also be seen in "The Adjustment Bureau," starring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Anthony Mackie, as Richardson.

Slattery recently completed production on Liza Johnson's "Return," in which he stars as a war veteran who befriends a mother and wife after returning from combat. Linda Cardellini and Michael Shannon also star in the film produced by 2.1 Films and Meredith Vieira Productions.

Slattery recently appeared on the big screen in "Iron Man 2" as Howard Stark, opposite Robert Downey Jr. Slaterry also appeared in Clint Eastwood's critically-acclaimed "Flags of Our Fathers" as well as "Charlie Wilson's War" directed by Mike Nichols, and "Reservation Road" from Terry George. Slattery's additional film credits include "Mona Lisa Smile," "Bad Company," "Traffic," "The Station Agent" and "Sleepers."

Slattery's extensive television credits include a recent guest-starring role as Victor Lang on the hit series "Desperate Housewives," regular roles on "Jack and Bobby," "K Street," and "Ed" and memorable guest appearances on "Sex and the City" and "Will & Grace."

In the theater, Slattery appeared on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize winning "Rabbit Hole" (Drama League nominated) and "Betrayal and Laughter on the 23rd Floor." His off-Broadway credits include the original production of "Three Days of Rain" (LA Drama Critics Award and Drama Desk nominated), among others.
