John Vermiglio is a Midwesterner currently serving up Southern hospitality the Executive Sous Chef at Table Fifty-Two in Chicago, Illinois. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he began his gastronomic career at the age of fourteen washing dishes in a bagel shop. His passion and drive for all things food originates from an innate commitment to serving people and eating. He is committed to his philosophy that there is really nothing that cannot be pickled. His dishes are locally focused and seasoned with the finest detail. Vermigilo is looking forward to bringing his talents back to Detroit one day in a restaurant of his own.
