Jordan Alicandro from "Biggest Loser 2014" is one of the contestants featured in Season 16 of the NBC reality weight-loss competition series. He is a regional sales manager from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

A lifelong baseball enthusiast who played the sport for 13 years, Jordan Alicandro started gaining weight after a torn ACL prevented him from pursuing his dream of becoming the next Ken Griffey Jr. Growing up in Kent, Washington, he was the middle child of three in his family. Alicandro was a multi-sport athlete, excelling in baseball, football and wrestling. His high school baseball team won the conference championship in his junior year, and he was selected as the MVP for his team. Alicandro planned to continue playing baseball for Green River Community College until he tore his ACL in a snowboarding accident, thus putting an end to his baseball career.

Devastated and no longer able to exercise, his poor eating habits caught up with him as he started to gain weight. His "aha! moment" came in 2010 after he saw his wedding photos and knew he needed to lose weight for the sake of his marriage.

Now 32 years old, 323 pounds and suffering from sleep apnea, Alicandro and his wife are expecting their first child in October. He wants to lose weight so he can be an active father and play sports with his son. Once he gets healthy, Alicandro looks forward to resuming physical activities like hiking, mountain biking, and hopefully training for "American Ninja Warrior."
