Josh Duhamel starred in the blockbuster "Transformers" and its sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," and will reprise his role in "Transformers 3." Born in Minot, North Dakota, Josh Duhamel played football at Minot State University where he was studying biology with the intention of going to dental school. However, the aspiring dentist decided to forgo medical school and moved to Los Angeles.
After a few months, Josh Duhamel landed his first acting job playing the title character in Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Shortly after the shoot, Josh Duhamel moved to New York City to join the cast of "All My Children." Duhamel received three consecutive Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Leo on "All My Children." He took the Emmy home in 2002. He has been named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People two years in a row.
Other film credits include "Turistas," and "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton," in which he took the title role.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
