Joy Lauren as Danielle Van de Kamp on "Desperate Housewives"
Joy Lauren was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Joy Lauren first realized that she wanted to be an actress at age seven and began performing at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta. At age eleven, Joy Lauren moved out to Los Angeles with her mother, Nan Jorgensen, to pursue her love of acting.
Joy Lauren has a passion for dance and for horseback riding. When Joy Lauren was younger, she performed with the Atlanta Dance Company. Joy Lauren hopes to have her American Saddlebred horse, Thomas, ready for shows next year.
Graduating high school at the age of fourteen, Joy Lauren is continuing her studies in preparation for college.
