"Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Sumer" is a family comedy starring Jordana Beatty and Heather Graham. The film is based on a series of books by Megan McDonald.

"Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer" tells the story of Judy Moody (Jordanna Beatty), a girl poised to begin what she believes will be the best summer ever. But that's before she finds out that her mom (Janet Varney) and her dad (Kristoffer Winters) are heading to California, and Judy is going to be stuck with her Aunt Opal, otherwise known as Aunt Awful (Heather Graham). With her two best friends splitting on her as well, prospects are dire for Judy, who may be stuck spending the whole summer with her loathsome brother Stink (Parris Mosteller).

But just when summer is starting to look like a serious bummer, Judy, with a little help from her surprisingly cool Aunt Opal, comes up with a new, thrill-a-delic plan: she challenges her friends to a thrill-point race for the most mega rare, not bummer summer of all time. The race is on!

"Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer" is directed by John Schultz from a screenplay by Megan McDonald and Kathy Waugh. The producers are Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness; the executive producers are Bobbi Sue Luther and Andrew Sugerman. The music is by Richard Gibbs.
