Julia Snigir is currently shooting action thriller "Freezer," directed by Mikael Salomon, opposite Dylan McDermott and Peter Facinelli. Snigir most recently starred in the independent feature "Delirium," directed by Lee Roy Kunz. In 2011, she starred in the French and Russian language television drama "Raspoutine," where she played a close aid to the Russian mystic played by Gerard Depardieu.

Additional Russian film credits include Fedor Bondarchuk's "The Inhabited Island" and its sequel, "The Inhabited Island: Fight," Dunya Smirnova's "Kokoko," Vasiliy Barkhatov's "Atomnyy Ivan," Dimitry Cherkasov's "Dolina Roz," and Andrey Konchalovskiy's "Gloss." On the stage, Snigir captivated audiences by playing a male role in the production of "King Lear," which won several European and Russian theater awards.

Snigir was born in a small town 200 miles from Moscow, Russia. At the age of 15, she was awarded the title of Candidate of Chess Master by the International Chess Federation. As the Russian face of L'Oreal and MEXX, she has shot commercials in Los Angeles, Paris and Berlin.
