Julie White stars as Leslie on ABC's "Cavemen."

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Julie White was late to her high school sophomore English class so often that she had accumulated two-and-a-half hours of detention. When she showed up to do her time, Julie White discovered that her English teacher was holding auditions for the big school production of "Guys and Dolls." He told Julie White that she could avoid sitting though detention if she would audition for the play, which she did, and she was cast as Miss Adelaide. Julie White had found her calling and has been acting ever since.

On the big screen Julie White will next be seen in "The Nanny Diaries," with Scarlett Johansson and Laura Linney. Julie White most recently starred in "Transformers" and will soon be seen in "Michael Clayton," opposite George Clooney. Julie White also appeared in "The Astronaut Farmer," starring Billy Bob Thornton, "War of the Worlds," with Tom Cruise, "Slap Her…She's French," "Sunday on the Rocks," "What Women Want," "Say It Isn't So" and "Flypaper."

On television Julie White starred as Nadine Swoboda on ABC's "Grace Under Fire" and recurred on "Six Feet Under" as Mitzi Dalton Huntley. Julie White also had a recurring role on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and guest starred on "Ally McBeal," "JAG," "Strong Medicine," "Touched By an Angel," "Arli$$" and "Law & Order." She has also completed production on HBO's "Taking Chance," starring Kevin Bacon.

Most recently winning a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her role in "The Little Dog Laughed," Julie White has also appeared on Broadway in "The Heidi Chronicles" and at the Mark Taper Forum in "Expecting Isabel" and "Money and Friends."

Julie White lives in the Los Angeles area with her Pomeranian, Lulu. Julie White enjoys playing golf and spending time on a ranch in Texas, which has been in the family for 100 years. Julie White's daughter is a Fine Arts/Painting major at USC.

Julie White is active in Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and supports environmental causes.
