Justine Bateman is best known for playing the role of Mallory Keaton on NBC's hit sitcom "Family Ties" from 1982 to 1989. Justine Bateman told TV Guide in 1996 that during the course of the show, she constantly struggled with anorexia and bulemia. Justine Bateman eventually overcame her eating disorder through a twelve step program. Recently, Justine Bateman had a guest-starring role on FOX's "Arrested Development" opposite her brother, Jason Bateman. Justine Bateman also had a recurring role on CBS's "Still Standing." In addition, Justine Bateman starred in the short-lived sitcom, "Men Behaving Badly" (1996-97) before leaving the show over a contract dispute. Feature film and TV movie credits for Justine Bateman include a starring role as the lead vocalist in "Satisfaction" (1989), opposite Julia Roberts and Liam Neeson, the stage-derived "The Closer" (1990), the horror flick, "Deadbolt" (1992), the political melodrama "Primary Motive" (1992), and the ensemble comedy "The Night We Never Met" (1993). Justine Bateman is married to Mark Fluent and has two children, Duke and Gianetta. Justine Bateman also runs her own fashion design company and serves on the National Board of Directors of Screen Actors Guild.
