Kaitlyn Dever stars in "Last Man Standing" on ABC as Eve. On the big screen, Dever stars in "Bad Teacher," opposite Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel, as Sasha Abernathy, and "Cinema Verite," with Diane Lane, Tim Robbins and James Gandolfini, as Michelle Loud.

Dever previously played the recurring role of Loretta McCready in FX's "Justified." She has also appeared in episodes of "The Mentalist," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Party Down," "Private Practice," "Modern Family" and "Make It or Break It."

Since Kaitlyn Dever was about four years old, she begged her parents to let her try acting. When she was about eight, they finally gave in. She started taking acting workshops at the Dallas Young Actors Studio (YAS) and doing local theater productions. It was through YAS that she met and signed on with her Los Angeles agent.

In 2007 she came to Los Angeles for pilot season. After only a week, she had her first commercial audition and booked the job. From there she booked several commercials for Gogurt, Franklin Templeton Investments, McDonald's, Suburu, Trix Yogurt, Kellogg's, Hallmark and Nintendo Wii, among others. She made her film debut in "An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong."
