Karen Waldrup from "Platinum Hit" is one of the contestants in the Bravo reality songwriting competition series. She writes a mix of folk, rock, country and blues songs, drawing her inspiration from the likes of Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Jewel, Faith Hill and Alanis Morissette. Waldrup would like to write a songs for Morrissette. She is currently living in Nashville, Tennessee, but grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana.
