Ken Luckey stars in "American Housewife," a drama series in development for Lifetime.

Upon graduating high school in Texas, Ken Luckey decided to follow his dreams by moving to Los Angeles. With little more than $200 to his name and a “never-fail“ attitude, he was able to land his first professional job on ABC’s "General Hospital" only four months after arriving in town. Since then, Luckey has nabbed recurring roles on "90210" and "Greek," and guest-starring roles on "House," "Cold Case" and "Valentine." His first feature lead came in 2007 with the independent film "Marsten Manor." He more recently starred in the romantic comedy "Love at First Hiccup."

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Luckey studied under the tutelage of Ivana Chubbuck and rapidly immersed himself in the acting community. He proved to be a quick study with the improv company Groundlings, and was the youngest performer in his group at Improv Olympic. In addition, Luckey has studied with Patrick Malone at the Actor’s Spot and takes scene study classes with Cameron Thor.

Luckey is an active supporter of deaf arts through his charity work with The Deaf West Theater, and an avid proponent of LA Animal Rescue and Adoption. When not on set, Ken may be found sparring in the Krav Maga fighting style (Israeli combat training) or pursuing any number of other sports. Luckey is also a history buff; his love of acting perhaps matched only by his love of research and trivia.
