Kevin Annas from "Church Rescue" stars in the National Geographic Channel reality series.

Kevin Annas, aka Rev. Kev, was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, where he spent his childhood attending a local Christian academy during the week, and church on the weekends.

As Church Hopper's resident business guru it is no surprise that Rev. Kev's entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen led him to the epiphany that church was more than just an experience, it is also a thriving business.

At an early age, Rev. Kev served in retail management before getting the entrepreneurial bug. He has owned and operated thriving businesses in a variety of industries from hardware and supply, to jewelry, a trucking company, real estate development, high-end construction and restaurant franchise development.

In addition to business ownership and management, Rev. Kev holds several certifications in areas such as Specialized Electronics, Master Builder, Certified Green Professional and Certified Public Speaker. He has received many industry accolades, including Builder of the Year. Rev. Kev has held multiple leadership and board roles in state and national home builders associations. Rev. Kev was featured in Builder Magazine, Retirement Magazine, and American Builders Quarterly Magazine.

Rev. Kev is an ordained minister with nearly a third of his life spent in deacon and stewardship roles. He has also developed or served in marriage ministry, building programs, international mission projects, church planting, and humanitarian relief projects, as well as developed and served as executive director and CEO of ETC Church.

Rev. Kev and his wife April have two wonderful children, Levi and Lacey. When he is not hopping or attending the kids' sporting events, Rev. Kev enjoys weight lifting, scuba diving, running, and travel.
