Kevin Skinner from America's Got Talent

Kevin Skinner from "America's Got Talent" is one of the top 40 contestants on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition series. He is a singer and guitarist from Mayfield, Kentucky, who has made it into the quarterfinals.

Kevin Skinner (age 35) is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Mayfield, Kentucky, where country is a way of life. He picked up the guitar at age 12 and has never put it down. Skinner quickly realized that conveying his feelings through his songs was a very special gift. Skinner believes that music is a powerful potion and believes that winning "America's Got Talent" would be a great gift, but just being a part of the show is something that he will never forget.

Audition

Kevin Skinner's Southern charm and stories of being a chicken catcher immediately draw smiles from the judges and audience. But his performance is what holds everybody's attention. Piers Morgan tells Kevin that within 20 seconds of the performance, he was sold. All three judges advance Kevin to the next round of "America's Got Talent 4."
