BET's "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is" brings back the platinum-selling R&B singer for a second season as she tries to push past the drama at home to build a lasting and healthy relationship with her mother and sister. The first season of the hit show "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is" gave viewers insight into what it took for Keyshia to rise up from her troubled past as the daughter of a drug addict growing up in Oakland, California, to become a critically acclaimed superstar.

It Is 2" takes viewers past the glamorous hip-hop life for a look into the star's real home life as she tries to re-establish a relationship with her mother, Frankie Lons, who's just been released from prison, and her sister, Neffe Pugh. Through therapy sessions, heated discussions and tough love on "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is," the women work to rid themselves of past demons and strengthen the ties that bind them.  "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is" inspires, motivates and digs deep into the heart and soul of the R&B star who, at the end of the day, just wants the love of her family.
