Kika Markham stars in "Mr. Selfridge" on PBS as Lois Selfridge.

Born in 1940, British actress Kika Markham is the daughter of actor David Markham and writer Olive Dehn. Her extensive list of television credits include PBS Masterpiece films "The Forsyte Saga," "Edward and Mrs. Simpson," "Bramwell," "The Woman in White" and "Hercule Poirot Series III: The Double Clue." Markham also appeared alongside Jim Broadbent ("Any Human Heart") in Tom Hooper's "Longford" (2007), alongside Dan Stevens ("Downton Abbey") in "The Line of Beauty" (2006), and in PBS's "Call the Midwife."

A veteran of the stage, Markham won rave reviews for her 2010 starring turn in the Royal Court Theatre production of "Tribes." Other roles include "The Seagull," "Homebody/Kabul," "The Vagina Monologues," "The Taming of the Shrew," "Macbeth," "Anthony and Cleopatra" and many more.

Until his death in 2010, Markham was married to fellow Masterpiece actor, stage veteran, and political activist Corin Redgrave, of the Redgrave English theatrical dynasty.
