Emmy Award winner Kim Delaney captured the attention of audiences and critics alike with her portrayal of Detective Diane Russell on ABC's acclaimed series "NYPD Blue." During the eight seasons Kim Delaney spent on "NYPD Blue," she received three Emmy nominations, including one win; two Golden Globe nominations and three Screen Actors Guild nominations—all for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Drama. Kim Delaney next starred in the Steven Bochco ABC drama "Philly," as well as the premiere season of "CSI: Miami." Kim Delaney starred in the TNT miniseries "Nightmares and Dreamscapes," based on the stories of Stephen King, and had a recurring role on the FOX series "The O.C." Kim Delaney also starred in the NBC telefilm "10.5" and its sequel "10.5 Apocalypse." Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kim Delaney began modeling during her senior year in high school. After graduation, Kim Delaney moved to New York and studied acting with renowned coach Bill Esper before landing the memorable role of Jenny Gardner on the ABC daytime drama "All My Children," for which she earned her first Emmy nomination. During that time, Kim Delaney also performed in several stage productions, including the off-Broadway production of "Loving Reno." Kim Delaney's feature film credits include Brian De Palma's "Mission to Mars," with Gary Sinise and Tim Robbins.
