Kimberly Caldwell is a singer, actress, and television personality who gained national recognition during her time on the second season of the television phenomenon, "American Idol," and is also known for her work as an entertainment correspondent and host for the TV Guide Network.

While on "American Idol," Kimberly was an instant fan favorite, finishing among the top finalists competing for the title. Following her run on the smash second season of "American Idol" which had nearly tripled the average viewership of the first season, Kimberly started working as a correspondent for the entertainment/extreme sports program "54321" on FOX Sports Network. Kimberly was soon picked up by TV Guide Network to be their "American Idol" correspondent for the show's third season and quickly found herself a staple on the network, co-hosting the weekly "Reality Chat" and hosting various specials and covering a wide variety of awards shows from the red carpet for the network including the Grammy's, the Academy Awards, the People's Choice Awards, the Emmy's, and the Golden Globes. During "Idol" season, she continues to co-host "Idol Wrap" and "Idol Tonight," the exclusive pre-show to "American Idol" on Wednesdays, for the network.

In addition to hosting for the TV Guide Network, Kimberly has also frequently appeared on a variety of other programs as a special "Idol" correspondent including "Glenn Beck," "MSNBC News Live," "Showbiz Tonight," "Rita Cosby," and "Fox News Live."

Caldwell also hosted VH1's "Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp" and MTV's reality competition "P. Diddy's Starmaker." Her other recent television appearances include "You're Cut Off," "100 Greatest Artists of All Time," "When I Was 17," and "Undateable," all on VH1, as well as "LA Ink" on TLC, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Rachael Ray," and the "American Idol" Season 9 finale on FOX.

Kimberly made her acting debut in the feature film, "Wrong Turn 2." She continues to pursue this side of entertainment and recently filmed a miniseries where she will appear opposite John Schneider ("Dukes of Hazzard").

Kimberly was also the brand ambassador of the Fall 2009 YMI Jeanswear campaign and was seen on billboards and in magazine advertisements for the brand beginning in June 2009.
