Kimberly Williams-Paisley first lit up the screen as the radiant young bride in the comedy feature film series "Father of the Bride" and "Father of the Bride, Part II." Today, as "According to Jim" enters its seventh season, Williams-Paisley continues to evolve in her role opposite Jim Belushi and Courtney-Thorne Smith, adding to her versatile and growing credits by directing an episode of the show that aired in February 2006. Kimberly Williams-Paisley has been establishing her creativity outside the performing arena as well, beginning with accomplishments as a published writer for such publications as In Style and Redbook magazines. Kimberly Williams-Paisley also wrote, directed and starred with Patrick Dempsey in the short film "Shade," for which she won the Director's Choice: Outstanding Directing and Acting in a Short at the Sedona International Film Festival, and edited a second short, "Numero Dos." Kimberly Williams-Paisley starred opposite Tom Cavanagh in "How to Eat Fried Worms," the film adaptation of the popular young children's book. Kimberly Williams-Paisley also has a starring role in the coming of age comedy "Eden Court." Other credits for Kimberly Williams-Paisley include the ABC Family Network's "Lucky Seven," the Lifetime Original feature "Identity Theft"—on both of which she also served as co-producer—"Christmas Shoes" and ABC's "Relativity." Other miniseries and TV movies include "The Tenth Kingdom" and "Follow the Stars Home." More recently Kimberly Williams-Paisley was seen in "We are Marshall," opposite Matthew McConaughey for director McG. Kimberly Williams-Paisley made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning "The Last Night at Ballyhoo," and has appeared on stage in "The Vagina Monologues" and "All in the Timing." Kimberly Williams-Paisley has also performed on the London stage in David Mamet's "Speed the Plow." Kimberly Williams-Paisley is actively involved with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, St. Jude Hospital and the XP Foundation.
