Kimee Balmilero

Kimee Balmilero stars on the American version of the musical children's program "Hi-5" which airs on Discovery Kids and The Learning Channel.  With "Hi-5," Kimee Balmilero has had the opportunity to perform on "The Today Show", "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade."  Kimee Balmilero's segment on "Hi-5" is "Puzzles and Patterns," in which she teaches math skills and problem solving.  Kimee Balmilero's role on the show is the equivalent of Kathleen de Leon Jones in the original Australian version.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Kimee Balmilero started performing from day one, competing with ten cousins for the attention of her grandmother.  Kimee Balmilero graduated from the Castle Performing Arts Center in Oahu, Hawaii.  Kimee Balmilero has performed for audiences worldwide with credits including the 2nd National Touring Company of "Miss Saigon," the original Broadway cast of "Mamma Mia," and in the ensemble Broadway casts of "Damn Yankees" and "Tommy."

Kimee Balmilero currently resides in Los Angeles where she also enjoys designing jewelry.  Kimee Balmilero launched her own jewelry line in December 2006 called Kimeejay.
