Kroy Biermann from "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding" stars in the Bravo reality docu-series that follows him and Kim Zolciak as they prepare for their nuptials. They welcomed their first son, Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr., on May 31, 2011, and got married on November 11, 2011.
Kroy Biermann met Kim Zolciak through a chance encounter during the filming of the third season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" at a charity function. The sparks flew and the pair has been inseparable ever since. As the new man in their home, Kroy adores Kim, her two daughters, and is a loving father to KJ. He wants nothing more than to see his bride have the wedding of her dreams.
Montana born and raised, Biermann is a professional football player, who plays Defensive End for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He was selected as a fifth round (154th pick overall) draft choice by the Atlanta Falcons in 2008. In his first three seasons in Atlanta, he has totaled 97 tackles (81 solo), 11.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one interception. He ranked third on the Falcons in sacks with 5.0 in 2009. He recorded his first career touchdown on a fumble recovery against New Orleans on November 2, 2009.
In college, he played in 52 career games while collaring 220 tackles, 32 sacks (second-most in school history), 45 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries at Montana State University. He was named the 2007 Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP and collected 70 tackles 15 sacks, 18 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles during his senior campaign. He became Montana's first-ever recipient of the Buck Buchanan Award in 2007, given annually by the Sports Network to the top defensive player in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision. He competed at the outside linebacker position in the 2008 Hula Bowl.
Biermann earned eight letters at Hardin High School (Montana), three in football and wrestling and two in track. He was a first team all-state pick and team captain as a junior and senior at linebacker. He was a first-team all-conference selection at running back in 2002 and 2003. He participated in Montana's Annual East-West Shrine Game. He was a Sociology major.
