Kym Johnson from "Dancing with the Stars" is one of the professional dancers featured in the ABC ballroom competition series. For Season 16, the two-time champ is partnered with soap opera actor Ingo Rademacher.

Johnson made her debut on the show on Season 3 with talk show host Jerry Springer, finishing in 5th place. She reached the finals in Season 4 with partner Joey Fatone, where they finished second. In Season 5, she was paired with billionaire Mark Cuban and came in 7th place. In Season 6, she was partnered with magician Penn Jillette, finishing in 12th place. The following season, she and NFL football player Warren Sapp were the runner-ups. In Season 8, she and comedian David Alan Grier didn't fare as well and were eliminated in the fifth week. She rebounded in Season 9 though when she and singer Donny Osmond won the competition! When she returned to the floor in Season 11 with David Hasselhoff, but they were the first ones voted off. The following season, she and Super Bowl MVP, Hines Ward, were the winners! In Season 13, she and actor David Arquette had to settle for sixth place, while she returned in Season 14 with actor Jaleel White and landed in seventh place. The following season, she and Joey Fatone didn't make it past the second week.

Kym Johnson began ballroom dancing at the relatively late age of 15 when she was dragged along to lessons by her brother who decided it would be a good way to meet girls. She soon got the bug and it wasn't long before she was dancing competitively. In December 1998, she and then partner Tomas Atkocevicius came second at the Australian Dancesport Championships in the Open Amateur Modern ballroom.

Johnson performed on the world tour of the modern ballroom stage show "Burn the Floor." She further grabbed Australia's attention when she appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" (Australia), and as a result she also appeared in TV ads and dipped into the world of modeling with a sexy shoot for FHM magazine.

Other highlights of her successful career include dancing at Elton John's 50th birthday party and appearing in the hit movie "Strictly Ballroom."
