Lake Houston Dance from "America's Got Talent" is one of the wildcard acts selected to compete on the live shows on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition. They are a dance group from Houston, Texas.
Lake Houston Dance is a group of 28 girls who come from the Lake Houston Performing Arts Center that recently celebrated its 20th year anniversary. The girls on AGT range from 8-14. They perform at Houston Rockets half-time shows, charity functions, school activities and any other opportunities that come their way! The girls train in all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theater, and technique classes. The hard training truly has paid off at the competitions the past several seasons! This year, Lake Houston Dance has been selected as one of the top 50 studios in the nation by the Federation of Dance.
Lake Houston Performing Arts Center is a family-owned business where all of the students feel at home. Heather Nicholas is the co-owner and has been directing the company for nine years. The girls are strong academic students, which enables them to dance as many hours as possible. Most of them would dance 24/7 if they could!
