Latia Lee from "American Idol 2012" is rumored to be one of the top 42 contestants in Season 11 of the FOX reality singing competition. She auditioned in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she received a golden ticket to Hollywood. She is 22 years old.

Latia Lee ("American Idol") is a gospel singer who was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began singing at the early age of 3 in her church choir. When she was about 12 years old, she took an interest in poetry and began to write songs about her life experiences. She also got the chance to sing for the mayor of Philadelphia with her school choir Sanctuary Christian Academy.

Lee is currently the lead singer of the band New Image and also sings with a gospel group from Georgetown called DP. Her newest single is entitled "Take Me Away."

She currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
