Lauren Blumenfeld stars in "Nightcap" on POP as Staci's assistant, Penny.

Lauren Blumenfeld has played an eclectic array of characters, ranging from Olive Oyl to Jesus to Barack Obama. Onstage, she has performed on Broadway in Manhattan Theatre Club's Tony-nominated "The Assembled Parties" by Richard Greenberg, and off-Broadway in Soho Rep's twice-extended "We Are Proud to Present ... " by Jackie Siblies Drury. Blumenfeld is also a frequent performer at Ars Nova in New York and has performed regionally at the Williamstown Theatre and the Old Globe in San Diego.

On television, Blumenfeld starred as Lucy Alexander in CBS's drama "Doubt," alongside Katherine Heigl, and appeared in episodes of "Limitless," "Unforgettable" and "Deadbeat." Film credits include "Black Dog Red Dog," "The Rebound" and "A Little Princess."

Originally from Los Angeles, Blumenfeld attended the Experimental Theatre Wing at New York University. She is a member of Old Vic New Voices in London, a performer and writer for Naked Angels' Naked Radio and a proud volunteer and Smart Partner at the 52nd Street Project.

Blumenfeld is also a lover of seashells, quality fruit and crafts involving googly eyes and hot glue.
