Lauren Shiohama is one of the models on NBC's game show, "Deal or No Deal."
Lauren Shiohama graduated from the University of Southern California in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Business Administration. Prior to pursuing modeling and acting full time, Lauren Shiohama had aspirations of a career in business. However, on the advice of a family friend, Lauren Shiohama decided to take a leap of faith and move to Los Angeles in hopes of pursuing her dream career in the entertainment industry. Lauren Shiohama recently made her feature film debut when she played "Miss California" in Jonathon Dayton and Valerie Faris' "Little Miss Sunshine," which received rave reviews at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, Lauren Shiohama has done numerous print campaigns for companies such as Nike, Target, 24 Hour Fitness, Kohl's Department Stores, Disney, New York New York Hotel and Casino, Best Buy, Shape Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour Magazine.
When not working, Lauren Shiohama enjoys indulging in her passion for food. Whether it is creating something new or simply cooking for family and friends, it is extremely rare that a day goes by that Lauren Shiohama is not in the kitchen cooking up something spectacular. In addition to cooking, Lauren Shiohama also enjoys following her beloved Trojans football team, snowboarding, shopping, and going to the beach.
