Lena Waithe stars in Netflix's original comedy series "Master of None."

Comedian, actress and writer Lena Waithe was named by Variety in 2014 as one of the "Top 10 Comics to Watch." Based on the traction her spec pilot "Chiraq" created, she was offered a position on the staff of FOX's long-running series "Bones." Additionally, BET acquired and will produce her original pilot, "Twenties," with Flavor Unit attached.

Waithe also worked as a producer and contributing writer on the film "Dear White People," which debuted at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and sold to Lionsgate. The year before, she was named to the 2013 WGA Writers Access Project, which is designed to identify excellent, diverse writers with television staffing experience.

She graduated in 2006 from Columbia College Chicago, where she majored in Writing & Producing Television.

Who is she dating? What do you think of her?
