British actress Lenora Crichlow is perhaps best known for starring in BBC's supernatural drama series "Being Human" as Annie, a ghost who share an apartment with a werewolf and a vampire. She also starred as a young fashion designer in BBC's romantic comedy series "Material Girl" and as teenager Maria "Sugar" Sweet for Channel 4's comedy drama "Sugar Rush," based on the novel by Julie Burchill. The latter series won an International Emmy Award in the Children and Young People category and was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Drama Series.

Other UK television credits including recurring roles in the popular long-running series "The Bill" and guest appearances in "Inspector George Gently," "Death in Paradise," "Casualty" and "Doctor Who." She played the leading role in ITV's miniseries "Collision" and was featured in several TV movies, including "Doors Open," adapted from Ian Rankin's novel and starring Stephen Fry and Dougie Henshall, "The Things I haven't Told You," "Kiss of Death" and "Bella and the Boys." In addition, Crichlow appeared in Charlie Brooker's Emmy Award-winning series "Black Mirror" in the episode entitled "White Bear," one of three stand-alone dramas that explore our modern reality. She began her professional acting career alongside Billie Piper in the Century Films/BBC drama "Bella and the Boys."

Crichlow made her feature film debut in the UK horror film "Wilderness." In 2012, she played the leading role of sprinter Shania Edwards in "Fast Girls." She also starred in the independent film "Electricity," directed by Bryn Higgins.

On stage, Crichlow was seen in the Royal Court's original production of "93.2 FM" and played Claudine in Michael Attenborough's "Big White Fog" at the Almeida Theatre in London. She trained with the Young Blood Theatre Company, performing in several productions, including "Safety in Numbers," "Hit 'n' Run" and "Blameless."
