Leo Allen is a comedian, writer and actor living in Queens, New York. As a comedian, his television appearances include two "Comedy Central Presents" half-hour specials, "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Last Call with Carson Daly," NBC's "Late Friday," and Comedy Central's "Comedians of Comedy." He also hosts the weekly "Whiplash!" stand-up show, which welcomes the world's greatest comedians to the UCB New York stage.

Allen was a writer for "Saturday Night Live" for three seasons, a contributor to the second season of MTV's "Human Giant," co-head writer on Robert Smigel's live autism benefit "A Night of Too Many Stars" for Comedy Central. He was also co-creator for Comedy Central's "Important Things with Demetri Martin." Allen wrote and starred in a half-hour of sketches for HBO's "Funny Or Die Presents" and appeared in the films "Just Wright" and "It's Kind of a Funny Story."
