Leyon Azubuike is a professional strength and conditioning coach based at Gloveworx in Santa Monica, California. His unique training style incorporates his boxing expertise, which he believes creates lean muscle mass that is especially effective for women. His sports career started at an early age by playing basketball and running track and field. He was recruited by Temple University to play football. While in college, he dreamed of playing in the NFL but his hopes were shattered after he suffered a knee injury during spring training.

After school, Azubuike moved to Las Vegas to train in boxing and eventually gained success. Eventually, he became more focused on strength and conditioning. Azubuike founded his own gym, Gloveworx, and is now the go-to-guy for many A-list celebrities, including Nick Carter, Eric Braeden and Andre 3000.
