Terry and Linda met in Los Angeles at a restaurant in 1983 and for two years had a long distance romance mostly over the telephone. Terry was traveling all over the world wrestling, while Linda stayed in California. Linda occasionally went to see Terry's wrestling matches, and often wondered how Terry could be such a maniac in the ring and so calm and gentle the rest of the time.

Terry and Linda were married in 1984 and Linda moved to Tampa, Florida, Terry's hometown. Linda Hogan traveled with him for five years and in 1988 their daughter Brooke was born. Their son Nick came two years later. Terry and Linda became devoted parents. They took the children everywhere with them. Terry began traveling across the country as the WWF World Champion and Linda was on her own, yet she never let that hold her back. Linda Hogan is a mover and a shaker. A great mother, Linda Hogan was always showing and teaching the kids new things. Whether it was a weekend at Disney World, a visit to California, or discovering new beaches in Florida, Linda, Brooke, and Nick were always on the go. Linda Hogan also recognized that at a young age Brooke had musical ability. Brooked excelled at playing the piano and singing. Linda Hogan had always encouraged Brooke to pursue her talents and supports her 110% in her new singing career. Linda also encourages her son Nick's love of cars. When Nick was thirteen, Linda Hogan bought him a car to keep in the garage just to work on, now Nick is quite the car expert.

To see Linda Hogan in action at home is like watching a whirlwind. Linda Hogan does more in one day than most people do in a week. Her day starts early with the tender, loving care she gives her menagerie of animals.seven dogs, two cats, numerous birds, turtles, ferrets, and a rooster named Lilly. Then the chaos begins with the endless barrage of phone calls, deliveries, maintenance people, dog groomer, teenagers, and questions from everyone. Yet Linda Hogan is not fazed by all the commotion. She loves to multitask, and she's great at it! Linda has been Terry's closest confidant in all their business matters, and when you see them together you really understand the meaning of the word team. Linda Hogan is truly the catalyst of the family. In the middle of all this turmoil, Linda flashes her beautiful smile and suggests having a Barbeque and boat ride for 15 to 20 friends.
