Linus Roache Law & Order
Linus Roache stars in "Law & Order: SVU" on NBC as Michael Cutter, reprising his role from the original "Law & Order." Roache will be seen in 2012 in the ABC miniseries "Titanic," written by Julian Fellowes.

For over 25 years Roache has worked extensively in theater, television, radio and cinema across the world.
The versatile Roache starred in NBC's drama "Kidnapped" and in the feature film "Batman Begins," opposite Christian Bale. He also co-starred as the Levite priest Aaron in the television miniseries "The Ten Commandments," as Robert Kennedy in the television movie "RFK," for which he received a Golden Globe nomination, and in the feature film "The Chronicles of Riddick."

He first gained worldwide recognition as the title character in Antonia Bird's critically acclaimed film, "Priest."

Roache was seen in "Before the Rains," acclaimed Indian director Santosh Sivan's first English speaking feature, and "Yonkers Joe" opposite Chazz Palminteri. Roache has appeared in Mira Nair's "Namesake," Sydney Lumet's "Find Me Guilty," Michael Cuesta's "12 and Holding," Joseph Ruben's "The Forgotten," and John Furse's "Blind Flight," opposite Ian Hart, for which he received a Scottish BAFTA Award nomination in the Best Actor category. Additional films include Iain Softley's screen adaptation of the Henry James classic novel, "Wings of the Dove," opposite Helena Bonham Carter; Martin Campbell's "Beyond Borders,"co-starring Angelina Jolie; John Polson's "Siam Sunset"; Gregory Hoblit's "Hart's War"; and Julian Temple's "Pandaemonium," for which Roache won the Best Actor Award at the Evening Standard Film Awards.

On the small screen, Roache has starred in HBO's award-winning "The Gathering Storm," for which he won the Golden Satellite Award for best actor in a supporting role. His other television projects include leading roles in "Shot Through the Heart," also for HBO and the BBC miniseries "Seaforth."

His extensive theatrical experience includes "Richard II" and "Coriolanus," opposite Ralph Fiennes at London's Almeida Theatre and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
