Lloyd Owen stars as Ripley on CBS's "Viva Laughlin."

Lloyd Owen was a member of the National Youth Theatre and trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Upon leaving, Lloyd Owen joined the award-winning theater company Cheek by Jowl and, under its founder and artistic director Declan Donnellan, performed in "Twelfth Night," "Macbeth," "The Tempest" and "Philoctetes" in London and on a world tour. After working with acclaimed Russian director Yuri Lyubimov, Lloyd Owen joined the Royal Shakespeare Company playing Edward IV in "Henry VI Part III."

Lloyd Owen has appeared in the British productions of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf," "Closer," which won the Lawrence Olivier Award for Best New Play, "The York Realist" and "Paul."

Lloyd Owen's British television credits include "The Monarch of the Glen," "Coupling," "Innocent," "Hearts and Bones," "The Cinder Path" and "All in the Game." Lloyd Owen has guest-starred in "The Vice," "Ghost Squad," "Dead Gorgeous" and "The Chief," among others. On American television, Lloyd Owen starred in the "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles."

On film, Lloyd Owen was recently seen in "Miss Potter" opposite Renee Zellweger. Lloyd Owen's other feature film credits include "The Republic of Love," "Between Dreams" and "Des Del Balco."

Lloyd Owen is an accomplished baritone singer and is fluent in French.

Lloyd Owen was born in London and his birth date is April 14.
