Lonny Ross on "30 Rock"
Lonny Ross 30 Rock
Lonny Ross stars in "Level Up" on Cartoon Network as the eccentric but reclusive, genius video game designer Max. As the creator of the popular online fantasy game, "Conqueror of All Worlds," he unknowingly unleashes a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into the real world.

Lonny Ross is a comedy actor and writer who previously starred as the naïve, yet lovable, Josh Girard, a writer/performer on NBC's Emmy Award-winning "30 Rock," a workplace comedy where the workplace exists behind-the-scenes of a live variety show. He was nominated along with the rest of the cast for a 2008 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Ross has appeared in films including Paul Soter's comedy "Watching the Detectives" with Lucy Liu and Jason Sudeikis, and Mark Helfrich's comedy, "Good Luck Chuck," starring Dane Cook and Jessica Alba. In 2008, Lonny Ross appeared in "The Rocker," starring Rainn Wilson and Christina Applegate, and "College Road Trip," starring Martin Lawrence and Raven Symone. No stranger to the live stage, Lonny Ross has performed in and around New York City doing stand-up and live sketch comedy. He has also been a guest on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Last Call with Carson Daly."

In November 2010, the Independent Film Channel announced they were developing an original scripted half-hour comedy series entitled "Chosen Guns," which Ross is writing and executive producing.

Lonny Ross has also worked behind-the-scenes on production crews, such as HBO's hit series "Sex and the City," as well as "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series "Ed."

Ross attended Wantagh High School in Wantagh, New York.
