Lorenzo Pisoni stars in "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son," opposite Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson and Jessica Lucas, as Dmitri.

Lorenzo Pisoni began performing in 1978 in his parents' circus, The Pickle Family Circus. During his career as a circus performer he worked in many circuses, including Cirque Du Soleil, as a clown, juggler, aerialist, acrobat and ringmaster in Asia, Europe and all over the US.

In 1999, he retired after 20 years as a circus performer and moved to New York City. He began working as an actor, working in his first professional job at Theatre for a New Audience's "Troilus and Cressida" directed by renowned theater director, Sir Peter Hall. Since then he has worked at Lincoln Center, Manhattan Theater Club, The Public Theater, Second Stage with actors such as Richard Griffiths, Daniel Radcliffe, Kevin Kline, Marcia Gay Harden, Ethan Hawke, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Waterston, Blair Brown, Campbell Scott, Hope Davis, Jimmy Smits, Kristen Johnston and Jobeth Williams. He has also worked around the country at South Coast Repertory, American Conservatory Theater, The McCarter Theater, Seattle Repertory Theater, and The Guthrie Theater.

As a physical comedy choreographer, calling on his training as a clown, he has collaborated with Alan Arkin, Elaine May, Matthew Broderick, David Arquette and Bill Irwin for both theater and film projects.

Pisoni has a number of upcoming film projects and a solo show, "Humor Abuse," based on true stories about being raised in a circus with a clown for a father, which was produced by Manhattan Theatre Club in the Spring 2009 and for which he won numerous Theatre Awards.
