"Lost in Transmission" is a reality series that airs on History Channel.

One man's clunker is another man's treasure couldn't be truer for automotive aficionado and "Top Gear" co-host, Rutledge Wood and friend, and fellow car fanatic, George Flanigen. These two men are on a mission — rescue America's forgotten classic cars that are sitting in ruins in barns, garages and the backyards of the South.

In each episode, Rutledge and George will rescue underappreciated examples of automotive styling that time has forgotten — from the obscure, one of a kind reclamation projects to classic American muscle cars — they will fix them up and get them back on the road. Rutledge is an expert at finding rare cars and George is a shrewd operator with an eye on the budget providing a much-needed counterbalance to Rutledge's passion. Their journey will take them off the beaten track, where they get lost in Southern flavors, meet eccentric characters and discover the heart of American car culture. Go along for the ride with two buddies on the ultimate road trip ... saving America's greatest, weirdest, and coolest cars.

"Lost in Transmission" is produced by Adjacent Productions for History. Zach Behr, Russ McCarroll and Elaine Frontain Bryant serve as the executive producers for History. Tabitha Lentle is executive producer. Nathaniel Grouille, Travis Shakespeare and Jane Tranter serve as executive producers for Adjacent Productions.
