Luke Bracey stars in the movie "Monte Carlo" (2011) as an Australian backpacker named Riley, the romantic interest for Meg (Leighton Meester). The filmmakers cast the emerging young international actor after a global casting search. The role marks his Hollywood debut.

Australian actor Luke Bracey is best known for starring as troubled teen Trey Palmer in the long-running Oz soap opera "Home and Away." The producers cast him after just one audition and were so pleased with his work that they extended what was originally intended to be a 15-week stint to 6 months. Bracey has also appeared in the Australian drama series "Dance Academy."

Born and bred on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, Bracey spent most of his upbringing surfing at Freshwater Beach and playing rugby for his local team.

After attending Harbord Public School, Luke moved to The Scots College in Bellevue Hill for high school. Bracey seized the opportunity to entertain, perform and learn the finer points of acting by studying Drama in Year 11 and for his HSC in 2007.
