Lyndsy Fonseca stars in "Nikita" on The CW as Alex, Nikita's (Maggie Q) former partner who plans to take down her old ally while also seeking revenge on the man who killed her family.

Fonseca previously starred on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" as Dylan Mayfair, the inquisitive daughter of the manipulative Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delaney) who has no memory of her childhood.

On the big screen, Fonseca stars in"Kick-Ass," based upon the comic book series, opposite Nicolas Cage, and the feature period piece "Fort Mccoy," as Anna Gerkey, a Christian girl who falls in love with a Jewish solider during World War I. She also stars in Lifetime's "Project Five," which consists of five short films directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Penelope Spheeris.

Born and raised in Northern California, Lyndsy Fonseca and her family relocated to Los Angeles when, at thirteen years of age, she landed the role of Colleen Carlton on the award-winning CBS daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless," where she spent the next three years honing her craft.

After ending her commitment on "The Young and the Restless,'" Lyndsy Fonseca went on to several recurring roles on some of television's hottest shows, including a four-episode arc on David E. Kelley's award winning drama "Boston Public," the role of the daughter on CBS's "How I Met Your Mother," and as Donna on the HBO series "Big Love."

Fonseca was a series regular on the CBS show, "Waterfront." She played Annabelle, the sharp tongued, political activist daughter of Joe Pantoliano and Mary Stuart Masterson. Fonseca also guest starred on the hit series "House" and "CSI."

On the big screen Fonseca recently starred in the edgy, coming-of-age independent feature film, "Remember the Daze," aka "The Beautiful Ordinary," in which she played Dawn, a girl who is realizing and coming to grips with her sexual orientation. "Remember the Daze" premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June, 2007 to rave reviews.

Fonseca currently resides in Los Angeles with her dog, Romey. She spends her free time in dance class and acting class, as well as hiking, singing and hanging out with friends.
