Mackenzie Phillips is one of the celebrity patients struggling to recover from drug and alcohol addiction on Season 3 of VH1's reality series, "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
Mackenzie Phillips, the daughter of John Phillips of The Mamas and The Papas, and a teenaged star from her roles in "American Graffiti" and the popular sitcom "One Day at a Time," is probably better known for her very public battles with drug addiction over the last 30 years than her acting and singing. Near fatal overdoses, numerous stints in rehabilitation facilities, and most recently, an arrest at the Los Angeles Airport in 2008 as she attempted to board a plane with heroin and cocaine have left many wondering if she can ever get clean. Mackenzie has a 22-year old son.
