Madeleine Mantock stars in "The Tomorrow People" on The CW as Astrid, Stephen's (Robbie Amell) closest friend since childhood.

British actress Madeleine Mantock is best known for playing Scarlett Conway in BBC's long-running popular drama series "Casualty" from 2011 to 2012. She has also been seen in BBC3's "Well Funny People" and BBC2's "BBC Prom: Sondheim at 80."

On the big screen, Mantock can be seen in Doug Liman's "All You Need Is Kill," starring Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton.

Mantock graduated from ArtsEd Drama School, where she studied on a bursary from the BBC Performing Arts Fund. While there, she performed in productions of "Curtains," "Footloose," "Madonna," "State Fair," "Assassins," "Side by Side," "Beautiful Thing" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." Since then, she has appeared in stage productions of "Sleeping Beauty," "Broadway to West End" and "Christmas in New York." She also participated in a workshop for "Li'l Benny" at Bush Theatre.

Mantock is a trained dancer in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Basic Ballroom and Latin.
