Madeleine Martin stars as Becca on Showtime's "Californication."
Madeleine Martin captured Broadway's attention just after her seventh birthday, when she starred in the Broadway National Tour of "The Sound Of Music" with Richard Chamberlain. At the age of 10, Madeleine Martin received rave reviews for her performance in the title role of "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg." Madeleine Martin's performance was so heartbreakingly stunning that she was invited to be the youngest presenter in history at the 2003 Tony Awards. Next, Madeleine Martin starred in Martin McDonough's "The Pillowman," alongside Billy Crudup and Jeff Goldblum. The New York Times Arts & Leisure section profiled her at the age of 12. Madeleine Martin won the 2008 National Youth Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress in "August: Osage County," the Broadway Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award winning play.
In a departure from these darker roles, Madeleine Martin spent four seasons as the voice of the beloved JoJo on "JoJo's Circus," Disney's wildly successful animated television series. Madeleine Martin has guest starred on "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Hope and Faith" and "Saturday Night Live."
An accomplished dancer, Madeleine Martin has performed with the world-renowned New York City ballet at Lincoln Center in Christopher Wheeldon's "Scenes de Ballet," as well as Balanchine's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Nutcracker."
