Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgette on "Making the Band 4"
Danity Kane's Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgette likes to stay busy. Since she was very young, Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgette has been enamored with every aspect of performance. D. Woods has studied modern ballet and hip-hop and West African dance; undergone intensive vocal training; and honed her songwriting skills.
D. Woods has performed in musical theater and dramatic stage productions; interned at New York's Power 105 radio station; appeared in commercials and music videos; and toured as a dancer. The girl tried it all before finally striking gold during "Making the Band 3," when she became a member of Danity Kane. A fan of Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Jay-Z, Wanita Woodgette hopes to bring a little hip-hop and classic soul to the band's sophomore album.
