Best known as A.C. Slater on the beloved sitcom "Saved by the Bell," Mario Lopez danced his way into America's heart during season 3 of the hit show "Dancing With the Stars." After amazing audiences with his fancy footwork and being crowned the runner-up, Mario Lopez went on to host the weekend edition of "Extra" and became a regular fixture on the daily show. Mario Lopez is a man who likes to stay busy, which is why he is a recurring commentator for HBO Boxing and the host and executive producer of SITV's "Dating Factory." In 2007, Mario Lopez starred in the highest-rated ABC Family original movie in history, "Holiday in Handcuffs," and starred opposite Mark Consuelos in the made-for-TV movie "Husband for Hire." In 2008, Mario Lopez will star opposite Christina Milian in the CW half-hour comedy "C" and release his first self-penned fitness book. Born in San Diego, California, Mario Lopez began his career as the younger brother on the 1980s TV series "A.K.A. Pablo" and became well known to TV audiences through his roles on "Saved by the Bell" and "Pacific Blue." Mario Lopez brought the bachelor's point of view to the talk show "The Other Half," an all-male version of "The View," and helped bridge the gap between sports and entertainment on ESPN Hollywood. Mario Lopez portrayed Olympic diving champion Greg Louganis in the made-for-TV movie "Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story" and appeared in such films as "Colors," "Depraved," "Eastside" and "Outta Time."
