Ramirez began her career as a fashion model at the age of 13, but later turned her attention to acting. She landed work in several high-profile music videos, including leads in Will Smith's "Wild, Wild West," Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman," Backstreet Boys' "As Long As You Love Me" and Jordan Knight's "Give It To You." Her performances caught the eye of producers at MTV, who tapped her to co-host "Senseless Acts of Video."
