Mark O'Mara from "Brother vs. Brother" is one of the contestants featured in the HGTV reality home renovation competition series. He is on Jonathan Scott's team. O'Mara' strengths include carpentry, power tools, masonry, styling and accessorizing.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, New York City resident Mark O'Mara's interest in design originated in middle school when an art teacher demonstrated how to draw space and perspectives on paper. His passion for design continued and in 2004 he received a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee.

Mark is a designer and independent contractor with experience in plumbing, HVAC and framing and says he knows how to execute a N.Y. project from initial design to completion. Professionally, Mark has designed several residential and commercial projects and describes his personal design style as "organic and functional."
