Mark Valley stars in FOX's "Human Target" as John Scott. Previously, Mark Valley starred in FOX's "Fringe" as FBI Agent John Scott.

Mark Valley, a film and television actor who taps into his impressive life experience to bring depth to the vast array of characters he plays, recently starred for three seasons as Brad Chase on "Boston Legal."

Mark Valley made an impact on television viewers with his lead role in "Pasadena," as well as in recurring roles on "ER" and "Once and Again." Additional television work for Mark Valley includes guest spots on "CSI," "The Lone Gunmen" and "Gideon's Crossing," as well as a stint on the long-running daytime drama, "Days of Our Lives." Mark Valley also appeared in several telefilms, including "Running Mates" and "Breast Men," and portrayed Senator Robert Kennedy in "George Wallace."

Valley's has an impressive list of film credits including John Schlesinger's "The Innocent"; "The Siege" with Denzel Washington; John Frankenheimer's "George Wallace," in which he played Robert F. Kennedy; "The Next Best Thing" with Madonna and Rupert Everett; and recently "Shrek III" as the voice of Cyclops.

Mark Valley first became interested in acting during high school but put his aspirations on hold when he decided to attend West Point. Mark Valley graduated with a degree in math and was then stationed in Germany, where he stayed for five years - except for the time he spent participating in Operation Desert Storm.

Mark Valley's acting career began when he was discovered by an agent in Berlin. Mark Valley's first role was working in John Schlesinger's "The Innocent," which starred Anthony Hopkins and was filmed in Germany. Mark Valley continued working abroad and appeared in several more productions before returning to the United States to pursue his career further.

Mark Valley is a native of Ogdensburg, New York, and currently resides in New York City.
