Matreya Scarrwener stars in "Ties That Bind" on UP as Mariah Olson.

Matreya Scarrwener is a Vancouver-based actor who has been performing on stage and screen for several years. Television credits include a recurring role as Sheila in TNT's sci-fi series "Falling Skies" and guest-starring roles on "The Killing," "Spooksville" and "The Haunting Hour."

Scarrwener played Dorothy Gale on an episode of ABC's "Once Upon a Time," for which she earned a Joey Award nomination, and was a series regular on CBC's critically acclaimed western drama "Strange Empire," playing Robin.

Scarrwener appeared at the Arts Club Theatre in both the two-handed play "Armstrong's War," for which she received a Jessie nomination and a Joey Award, and "Waiting Room" by John Mann and Morris Panych.
